A millon fields ago

A million fields ago when
the earth would take showers for hours and hours.
A field where humans would
carve antiques out of the tall wet tree.
The never ending singing birds
would sing songs from desolate dreams.
You would put me on your feet.
the smell of the air ever so sweet.
You would tell me wonders of the world and of
people you once knew.
Telling me stories you never told a soul.
A million fields ago, oh remember those wonderful
days. Days when there was only you and I.
You would tell me sweet, sweet stories
I will always adore.
But now all those fields are gone and I'm
faced in the real world with no feet to hold.
(Missing my mom)
