I have about 3 posts already on Garnet, but every single time I listen to him I am so touched and inspired, such a humble spirit always praising the Lord.

12 mile bike hike and an almost broken pelvic bone in the process

Bike riding and logging our bikes  through the woods, we kept pushing on to see where the end led to and 3 and a half  hours later we made it out, thank God it leds us out into a main road that was about 15 mins from home. I couldn't imagine going back through the trail and hills.  As I was going down one of the dirt hills in the beginning of our trip I was talking to my sister and kept looking back because there was nothing out of place, until a big ass rock that was not there appeared.  My bike tripped over the rock and I could not get a hold off the brakes so I ran into a tree(not a good idea, it's the same thing with driving).  The bike stopped and my lower half went forward at the same speed the bike was going kinda like a car crash, my pelvic bone came crashing forward into the front part of my bike, the pain was so excruciating.  After regaining my energy we pushed on.  It was quite an interesting fun day, minus the crash and the pain.

Why am I not surprised that all of my favorite cities made this list minus Washington D.C.  To me Baltimore is the worse, maybe b/c I lived there the longest, it even seems dirtier han NY city.  I am so in love with Philadelphia, I was a bit surprise that it made the list, but oh well I still love love love that place, it's so magical there, I get this certain feeling when I am there I cannot explain..

Buju Banton sentenced to 10 years in Prison

I am fricking pissed off that Buju got 10 years in prison, he was targeted, the whole phucking thing is sickening.  There is no stopping someone when they are out to get you, I feel bad for Buju he should have been on his guard a bit more and realize these people are not for him.  It's not enough that a black man doesn't distribute drugs, so when they don't you get people like the d.a soliciting their ass and setting them up.  I am really pissed, because I feel so badly for Buju, it's messed up.  I bet the person doing the setting up did not even get a day in prison and that pisses me off, because clearly the guy was set-up.  He should have said no in the first place, plus he didn't even know the person, they were out to get him from the get-go.  The gay community in the states hates him b/c of his 'boom bye bye,' song that he made targeting  gays, which  he made over 20 years ago when he was 16.  People don't understand that when you are born in Jamaica everyone is taught that being a homosexual is wrong and it is the lowest form of person to be on earth, even I was caught up in the mess.  But once we get older we realize the truth about certain things at least some of us do and find out it is not so wrong afterall.  Buju could not live down that song, even though he did not perform it anymore, certain people could not look  pass his views which I can understand in a sense but to blatantly target the guy like that is messed up.  Gosh certain things are so frustrating.  I believe though that whatever situation we are in we can learn certain lessons from it, and I pray that he keeps his mindset and stays close to God.

Today I spent all day watching my favorite Romance movies, it was pure bliss.

Love and Basketball, A Walk to Remember, Anna and the King, Memoirs of a Geisha, and Lion King.  I swear I feel pure love right at this moments it is so magical.  No matter how many times I have seen these movies I still get butterflies at certain scenes. There is such a genuine feeling and pureness about each one of these stories. One of my ultimate goals is to play the lead in a movie like one of these, they are so different from one another but the love is still the same.

I love this movie sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much I have literally seen this movie over 100 times.  I fell in love with Omar Epps and Maxwell within the same moment of this scene.  It is such a great romance movie and story in general.  After seeing this movie I was so obsessed with Omar Epps, I  was like 12 years old and any movie that Omar was in I had to watch.  I had the biggest crush on him, he was so fricking fine.  I love this movie!!

Personally for myself, I do not like medication muchless drugs.  I haven't done Marijuana because really I do not need it. But it makes total sense to me now why a natural herbal plant that is not even drugs would be considered illegal.  It is because of the heightened conscious state that many who uses it are exposed to, that the people "in charge" do not want the mass public to be open to.  Hence the reason why "they" may mix harmful drugs along with marijuana to mess peoples' minds up.    I haven't seen any bad affects of Marijuana so it's strange how a plant like Marijuana that has beneficial affects for it's users is banned when Alcohol and Cigarettes are not.  It's quite interesting what people will find when they look into these things.  How could some of the most harmful substances to the human body be legal while a beneficial  herb and plant that will help cleanse the body and open up the mind be illegal? Quite interesting.

The Universe/Black holes/time space continum

I am so intrigued by the Universe, and also people.  I was sure Biology leading to Psychiatry is what I am interested in but I also love Physiology, Metaphysics(the study of ultimate reality), Epistemology(the study of knowledge), Ethics(the study of human behavior), and also within the Universe I am interested with time continuum.  I know every living creature in the Universe is connected, and there are certain powers that we all have access to, that is within.  I am so intrigued with how it all connects, it's like a mystery only it isn't because all of the answers are within ourselves.  We just need to learn how to tap into it and meditation is one of the ways.  The answers to the human form and the Universe lies first within knowing ourselves.  It's so easy for us to want to look without for these answers instead of taking the time to get to know ourselves, I know that's how I feel.  e believe we know everything there is to know about ourselves hen e have not even tap into half of who we really are.  Ourselves as we know it is just on the conscious level, the superficial in a sense, there is so much more we are not telling ourselves, we just have to have patience.

I have been saying this for years now after seeing Locked up, the phucking criminals are treated better than citizens and homeless people. They get free room and board, free medical, and free fricking meals. The legal system

I have realize there are major flaws in the legal system there are so many egos there who will not admit they are wrong, they would prefer to keep an innocent person in prison no matter the confessions of the perpetrator instead of owning up to their mistakes.  The prison system was created for the people who have done the crime.  I understand mistakes happen and the wrong person may be convicted but the legal people whether it is the cop on duty or the prosecutor, when they are spoken to none that I have seen admit that they were wrong even though all the evidence says so,  they are so arrogant and egotistical it's sickening.  I am watching a case where a woman was convicted of killing her son but the real killer confessed during his time on death row, he had committed about 21 other random killings just like the one with the little boy and the police officers and people who convicted the mother did not want to open the case again to get the mother out of prison WTF, I am so fucking disgusted at the ego on these stupid people.  They have the audacity to say the killer is lying WTF who the fuck are they to pick and fucking choose who they fucking believe. Once the people "in charge" have made up their minds against someone that is it,  most of these people will not even listen to new evidence that comes in.  I lost respect for a lot of police officers from the time I was 15.  I know there are a lot of decent ones out there and I thank and respect them, and I am sorry for grouping you with the ones who have gotten their morals misplaced.

Thank God in this particular case the mother was re-tried and found not guilty, but the persecutor in the case is still vehement that she committed the crime, WTF, his fat ass is so full of shyt.  I hate when people cannot admit they are wrong, he would have preferred to have the innocent lady in prison for life than to own up to his mistake.

The Lord

God is so incredibly amazing.  Sometimes it's so easy to get so caught up with all the negative that is in this World, that we overlook all the good that there are.  We forget that he that dwells within us is stronger and more powerful than any power that dwells without.  So fear is silly when we have the father within us at all time.  The Lord finds little clever ways to remind us, of his power and glory that is dwelling within reach for us all. He is so amazing.  He shows us that his will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven, no matter the corruptness we see going on.  I am so thankful I have the Lord in my life, reminding me daily of his love.  My ultimate dream is for everyone to know the Lord that lives within like I do, there is a certain calm and a peace that lies in knowing him.  His goodness that we all have, he makes you feel good, because he is love, he is the truth, everyone knows this.  The Lord teaches, love, peace, harmony, and humility, how could he be wrong, when his message ultimately leads to the oneness of all beings.

Feeling Down? 7 Ways to Pick Yourself Back Up!

From time to time, we all get a little down, maybe even a little depressed. Maybe we are feeling overwhelmed, or feel bad because we’re not doing well with our goals. There are many reasons for feeling down, and I’m not qualified to discuss all of them, their implications, or clinical treatment. What I can talk about are some things that have worked for me.

Feeling a little depressed can interfere with achieving our goals. We know we should be doing something, but we just don’t feel like doing anything. This can last for a long time if you don’t head it off as soon as possible and take action. Here are some of the things that work best for me:

1. Make a list. Sometimes we are depressed simply because we are overwhelmed with all the things we have to do that we haven’t gotten around to doing. You might be into GTD, but sometimes every GTDer falls behind with his system, and sometimes you just don’t have the energy to do so. So all the “stuff” that’s in our head can overwhelm us. Start simply by picking up a piece of paper and a pen, and making a list of the most pressing things you have to do. Sometimes it’s work stuff, sometimes it’s stuff around the house that’s bothering us, sometimes it’s goal tasks, or a combination of these and more. Simply making a list can be a big relief — you’re getting things under control. You can see, right in front of you, what you need to do, and that alone can pick up your mood.
2. Take action. You’ve made a list, and you still feel overwhelmed? Well, get started on the first thing you need to do. Is it a big task? Break it down and just do the smallest task, something just to get you started. Once you get started, once you get into action, you’ll feel better. Trust me. You might still feel overwhelmed, but at least you’re doing something. And once you start doing something, you’ve got momentum, and that feels much better than lying around feeling sorry for yourself.
3. Exercise. I know, you might not be in the mood for exercise. But just do it! Taking a walk, going for a run, going to the gym, whatever it is you do for exercise — get out and do it now! You don’t need to do a real hard workout, but the simple act of exercise can lift your mood immediately. Just do it!
4. Shower and groom yourself. Laying around in your underwear, smelling bad, is not going to do you any good. Simply showering, and feeling clean, can do wonders for your mood. Brush your teeth, comb your hair, shave, do whatever it is that you need to do to feel clean and good about yourself. Instant pick me up!
5. Get out of the house and do something. Sometimes, if you stay home lying around, feeling depressed, just getting out (after showering and grooming) will change your mood. Staying home all the time can really get you down, and you may not realize this until you go out and do something. Preferably something on your list (see No. 1).
6. Play some lively music. I like Brown Eyed Girl, the Kinks, the Ramones, or an upbeat Beatles tune, but you might have your own brand of feel-good music. Whatever it is, crank it up, and let yourself move to the beat. It may just be what the doctor ordered.
7. Talk about it. Got a significant other, best friend, family member, co-worker you can talk to? Bend their ear. That’s what they’re their for. If you don’t, there are hotlines, or professionals, you can talk to. And then there’s always online forums. These are great places to find someone to talk to. Getting things off your chest makes a big difference, and can be a huge lift. It can also help you work out the reasons you’re feeling down.

Get an apartment with a guy I only knew for about 3 weeks.  But at the time it was not really stupid, it was just something that came up when I needed it to.

I like acting and psychiatry, so those would be my ultimate jobs.

I love the wilderness and nature, I love to go camping, hiking and fishing I feel at home and just so free and relaxed.  That would be an awesome job as well, just an hiking or nature instructor hahaha lol, or whatever they are called.  I love traveling as well, to anywhere, I love seeing new places and interacting with different folks.

What I love the most about my job is that we are helping less fortunate children around the world.

Lots, I just hate that I have to solicit people and go to their doors.  I really understand why it is neccessary to help these children and many people don't get that. I am trying to convince them why they should help and that sucks, I hate that.  I just feel like I am forcing them to do the right thing and at the end of the day the majority of them don't even give me the time of day.  I love the mission of what I am doing but I prefer to do it in another way.  Even writing this is making me not want to go into work tomorrow.

Less. I am so glad I am an adult now.

There were some really happy times.  But overall it was nothing special. I got taken advantage of by a few people(not sexually), I knew what they were doing was wrong but could not do anything about it, but I also knew it could not continue forever.  Even talking about this makes me a bit sad, I prefer not to dwell in the past.  But with every experience there are lessons to be learned and I learned them.

10. ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?
lol, I am always happy.

11. IF YOU COULD GO BACK IN TIME, WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERENTLY?
Nothing, I feel like I handled myself with dignity, there is nothing I would really change.  There are a few times when I have cursed a few people out and called them some vile names that I felt bad about later on but I wouldn't change that. There are some people who will not listen until you stoop to their level and show them that you can be just as dirty as they are.  Those ones no matter how nice you try to be to them or how much you try to ignore them they will not stop until you give them a dose of their own medicine.

12.IF YOU HADN'T BEEN BORN IN THIS CENTURY, WHEN AND WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO HAVE LIVED?
Most of my imagination are in the past maybe like the 18th century where woman wore dresses and everyone rode on horses, and just romance was so real, and genuine.  People were not going around having sex with everyone.  But then again I am black, I don't think that century is the place for me to be lol.  Usually when I picture that place there are no faces, just scenery, and a special type of  feeling, out in the woods, it just feels so magical.

13. WHO ARE YOUR HEROES?

I am really inspired by Jesus, he showed us that we can go beyond the self, and that ultimately love is the answer.  I love him and thank him so much for that.  He gave us hope and  showed us that it is possible for us all to reach that level.  I may not reach a Jesus state in this lifetime but I know I will.  I am also inspired by everyone who is doing their best with what they have, and I am inspired by humility.

14. WHO DO YOU HAVE NO RESPECT FOR?

It's not that I don't have any respect for them but I am disgusted by arrogance, being confident is good, but when people take it a notch further and not jokingly it is so disgusting.  How can people get to a point where they have made themselves believe they are better than others b/c of whatever reason.

15. WHAT DO YOU DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?

I like to read, research(anything that catches my eye), and go out.

No, I know words are what you make them but when I hear the word "Politic,' I just have a bad taste.

I have learned soooooooooooooo much since then, it's amazing.  I always say to people, "go beyond what you are taught, there is nothing wrong with questioning EVERYTHING."

Not sure, I am pretty much me all the time.  I am not going to ramble on about what I know or believe in if it is not the right context for it, so people may not know some of my views.

At one time when I was studying multiple personality disorders, I was so obsessed with that subject, I swore I was one too.  I thought it was kind of cool in a sense to have it.  But then again, I would not want another identity using my body without my recollection.

No, I have all the privacy I care for now.

It's great, such a learning experience and I am glad we all get the chance to walk in our neighbors shoes.

It's there for sure.  We are not the only Universe with living beings, that's for sure.  But from what I know I don't think there are any aliens who are trying to take over our planet.  We all have goals and mission that leads to love.

No, everyone needs to learn how to do the basics.  Cooking is really big for me,and that is a skill everyone should learn.   There is no way in hell if I had a spouse that I would be the only one cooking or cleaning.  Those are skills that everyone need to have.  If someone do not know how to cook, I don't mind showing them a bit, though I am not a teacher and hate that role.  Teaching is one of the toughest jobs.

31. IF YOU WERE A MAN (WOMAN) HOW DIFFERENT DO YOU THINK YOUR CAREER
WOULD HAVE GONE?

The same, b/c I would still be me, maybe I would get away with less because I was a guy and not a woman but who knows.  What we do with ourselves is not determinant on whether we are males or females.
